For his price and flexibility, I love McLouth, especially in Coors. He also runs the bases. You'll probably have to platoon him with a cheap lefty killer (e.g. Norris Hopper, Luis Terrero). Is it a total waste to use McLouth against righties and Vernon Wells against lefties with Wells as a defensive replacement, too? Or see if you can deal for Taveras instead of Wells. Just random thoughts I'm having.
I totally agree with visick, too. The pitching staff is a bit of a mess. Penny should be ok, Kazmir is iffy, and Dice-K and Doug Davis will get eaten alive at Coors :!: You need guys with decent WHIPs and low HR totals. You would also do well to beef up the 'pen just a little bit more. I know it's a hitter's park, but you've got too much meat in the position players. A lot of big whiffers, too. I'm not a big A-Rod fan in $80M leagues because he almost always seems to come in below his numbers, and $12M is a lot for just one player. He's over 15% of your salary!!
