Your winning % is better than mine so take this FWIW...

I think you need much more LH power. Only Mathews and Cash are the LHH that are full 8 # to both sides. Gordon is a waste of $$ in your park. You are paying for BP HRs that he won't make.

I like a lot of your hitters in isolation, but you have a LOT of errors waiting out there. Only Mathews and Ott are above average for errors, and most of your hitters are significantly worse than average.

Hey bunze!!!!

OK... you have seen my crappy Y56 teams, but.... I have been without THE MAN Mathews for the last few..

Anyway, Dickey, Cash and Mathews will be fine for you. Keep in mind that Dickey is a 15game inj threat, so you may want a better backup C.

I have found that Ott underperforms in Y56. He has driven me NUTS.

I would try to improve that D at 2B. Frey will get hurt, and Bernazard, while a good backup may kill you with his range if he sees extended action.

Lolich and Kaat are great, Merritt can be solid. I have never used Sutton - it's weird, but he scares me because, believe it or not, he's a 3 in the field. Yes, a 3. Plus, he can give up dingers. The best righties for that park are studs like Clemens or Seaver.

I really like the bullpen. Fryman, Staley and Giusti all have closer ratings and will suck up all the innings, like they should.

Wagner and Meusel are good choices. As is Cobb.
