Hughson is good.

I've only used Ruffing once on a Yankee theme team and he got knocked around pretty good.

Hughson will put up good #'s for his price - never used Ruffing.

I liked Ruffing in ATG1 but he is a little overpriced in ATG2.

I am using them both on 2 different teams playing now (both in Forbes)
so results are fragmentary.
Hughson in 72 IP has an ERA of 2.63 and a whip of 1.08
Ruffing in 213 IP has an ERA of 2.79 and a whip of 1.29

Ruffing or Hughson

I've used Hughson many times and Ruffing a few times. Hughson is one of few consistant SP in ATG2. Rarely has poor years and though not a Pete he can fill a #2 spot and can dominate at the 3 hole.

Ruffing can be hit but can also be a stud in the #2 hole. My feeling in a hitters park with no DH he is a solid SP to have. He seems not to perform well in pitchers parks and with a DH his great bat is lost.
