Does Anyone else suck as bad as me????

As I contemplate my many teams since I won my 1 and only ring, I am forced to the conclusion that I suck. If I were the owner, I'd fire my sorry #@#% as GM. My teams, which at one point in my career here were winning at about a .530 clip, now are a combined 6 games over .500 out of more than 3300 games played. :roll: :roll: :roll:

Oh well, and I can't even blame it on dismantling my teams like Kriff does -- no siree, I do it all on my own from draft through waivers through the regular season...

So, does anyone else want to jump on the "I suck as a manager" wagon (either about me or about yourself)? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Nope, didn't make me feel any better and I'm pretty sure that you're not as bad a manager as your record indicates.

I also was in the .550 range for awhile, then I started getting into more vet/theme leagues and it's down to .522 with 11 completed teams since my last title and only 3 playoff appearances of those teams - all losing in the semis.

My squad in the Home Run Derby league is 42-90 - that's right, almost 50 games under .500 and potentially closing in on about 115 losses.

Does that make you feel any better?

You're familiar with the Ring Fling concept, currently on it's 4th iteration.

You are ineligible, therefore you cannot suck as bad as the 11 owners currently starting in this league.

I would like to weigh in with an "I SUCK" example. I tried my first theme league "The Six Million Dollar Man League" and as you can see, my team is a train wreck and 1-5. I believe you are in my division Old Geezer and kicking my but! I think I have done well in my short strat career so far but this team might be out of the running very early.

I'm on my way 1045-1115. 13 teams and no rings. I'm one of the 11 Ring flingers. I've got 5 teams running right now, we'll see how they work out.

Ok, Ok, I suck--alright? I'm under .500, but I do some pretty weird stuff and experiment a lot. I mess around and win one every now and again. I supppose I could pore over spread sheets and do better, but I fear that would turn me into one of those sabermetrics geeks, and I'd rather put a sharp stick in my eye.

I suck too! I have absolutely no karma. I am the king of the 1 run loss. 2 nights ago, I had 2 scoreless extra inning games. In game 1, after 18 innings, the other guy scored 2 in the 19th for a 2-0 win. In game 2, I scored 2 in the 16th only to give up 3 in the bottom half and lose 3-2. I AM A LOSER. I have 10 crappy teams going now. One of them was an amazing 42-21. They are now 52-41. By this time next week they will be under .500 I SUCK. :evil:
