Great to see Addie Joss and some of the other lesser known great pitchers in that group.
I think ATG3 will really benefit from having great cards from:

Bob Gibson--68
Juan Marichal--65,68--he was the winningest pitfcher of the 60s
Lefty Grove--31?
Walter Johnson--1913
Warren Spahn--1953
Lefty Gomez--any of many
John McGinnity
Christy Mathewson
Kid Nichols
Don Drysdale 62
Eddie Plank

Some surprising names on the list, that's for sure. Mark Eichhorn??? Remember that season he had? He was throwing whiffleballs and nobody could hit them!

Why not have TSN create a team of nothing but All-Stars, these 30 - 40 or more players would be from various teams and eras.... no specific team, just great seasons/players.... :D

Yes it is .....

UPDATE Pete just won game #3 of the Finals for me and Hubbell won game #4 so I'm up 3-1. Pete is scheduled to pitch game #7 for me if necessary ..... Hopefully it won't be

P.S. - Here's Pete's stat line for the playoffs thus far:

W L S IP H ER BB SO ERA WHIP
2 0 0 25.0 15 1 2 16 .36 .68

Actually, THIS is why you draft Pete.

Alexander, P. R S8*/R5 16 1 0 167.2 132 37 22 123 1.99 .92 E

And, its in Memorial '83. Pete pitches game 81(!) tonight. So, thats in half a season. He leads both MVP, and Cy Young award voting by a LARGE margin.

He is averaging better than 8.1 IP a start.

Here is the game he lost, 2-1
