Enough Offense in Candlestick?

The only thing I'd say is "why would anyone throw a LHP against your team?" I'd load up on RHP against you and let Whitaker or Riggs beat me. That being said, is Keller available? He'd be a nice fit for LF and give you a LH bat and his D is decent for LF. Just my .02

RHP

Chance
Cochrane
Oliva
Mays
Alou
Riggs
Whitaker
Bowa

These guys should do pretty good vs. righties. Mays and Alou combined would drive in plenty. (if Alou stayed relatively healthy)

How about Furillo instead of Alou?

Keller is on a team in Nevdully's div, have enquired but am doubtful. Have also tried to pry Selkirk loose.....

I've had some bad luck the few times I've used Furillo (all but one team) but I think it's just a me thing. I think Furillo would be great in place of Stephenson.

Here they are side by side in Forbes on a 95 win team that lost in the Finals....gotta say nice numbers for both.

Well, as fate would have it, was unable to trade for either Ott, Selkirk or Keller.....so instead, ended up getting Ozzie Smith.
So now things look quite a bit different

vs RHP

Chance
OSmith
R. Stephenson
Mays
Cochrane
Oliva
Whitaker
Riggs

vs lefties

Chance
Kuntz
R. Stephenson
Mays
Cochrane
MCMullen
Smith
Whitaker

thoughts?

Oliva should hit right behind Mays and Riggs ahead of Whitaker
