I need help at SS

I am in a 100 million dollar league with PNC as my park. My lineup against RHP is all switch hitters or lefties, except for JJ Hardy who really does not fit PNC. My only other option available is, Asdrubal Cabrerra. He is a switch hitter and a 2-e26(compared to Hardy's 2-e12). They both hit LHP better, but Cabrerra has a higher OBP, and he does not have all the wasted ballpark HRs. Should I stick with Hardy, or go with Cabrerra? Thank you in advance for any, and all, comments, advice, and opinions! I only have until tomorrow at 10:00pm to decide.

Hardy has 600 PAs and better defense, so I would definitely go with him (although I know it might be bad karma to go against an Indian  )

Aerodave,
I appreciate and trust your advice, but do you really think 600+ PAs is that much more important than a way higher OBP? Hardy has a lot of ballpark HRs that are going to be a COMPLETE waste. I just can not decide, but I am thankful for your input. So far you are the only one to notice and offer help! THANKS!

I'm with AeroDave. I think 600 PA's is important. The runs lost to defense both when Cabrera is in or injured(depending on the backup) make the OBP not that important, and it is not a HUGE difference in OBP. He is probably only batting ninth, I assume. Also, Cabrera loses his share of # HR's vs lhp's as well. Lastly, it's not really that good to have no RH hitters, even in PNC. I have gone that way a number of times as I have trouble resisting PNC's dimensions. Good players will take advantage of that weakness.

Alright that is two EXPERT opinions weighing in for Hardy, and that is who I have now. I think I will stay that way. Someone suggested Guzman and Eckstein, but that injury risk and defense is horrible. Besides Hardy would bat 8th, and he could help on the road! Thanks!

You're absolutely right. Guzman and Eckstein are terrible choices. As durantjerry said, OBP isn't hugely different, and defense and health are really important. Lastly, Cabrera has some bpHRs that will be wasted, too. If it's at all possible, you might as well go with McDonald or Vizquel and save about 3M if available, but I'm guessing they're not. I think you'll be happy with Hardy. Like you said, he should be good on the road, depending on the other ballparks.

Michael Young is now available. But the season starts tonight. I really like Young's bat, however his defense can not touch Hardy's, and it is not like there is even anyone that I could get with the extra money I would save by swapping Hardy for Young. Here is the team:
