1st Forbes

Cochrane is excellent value in a big park. Replacing him should not be your top priority, even with Carter. I've played quite a bit in Forbes/Griffith, and just my opinion, of course, but Carter would definitely not be my top pick there. Boss and I will just have to agree to disagree. :)

It could all be a moot point. I would set Pete as my first waiver claim. Brown would be second. Then Pfeister third. Carter would be fourth and Dom D would be 5th in case I could not get the anchor to my staff.

Much to my surprise I have a true small ball team. I missed out on Carter and would have wanted Mays for some power but I'll go small ball all the way.

I have a decision to make in regards to my pitching. I firue I'll keep Pete Alexander and perhaps drop Brown and get the best two available starters for the money. Any thoughts?

I have a Forbes team in the Finals right now that was headlined by Pete and Brown. Brown went 30-5 and Pete went 27-7. My other 2 starters were Wilson and Bush (I'll never use Bush again, though). Since you got some great hitters I would look at sacrificing Cochrane for a less expensive, but good defensivly, catcher. I would also drop Gossage down since a bullpen will not be as necessary when you have Pete, Brown, and hopefully a 3rd SP who can pitch late into games.
