How does this team look? Lineup suggestions?

How do I look? Do I stand a chance? I'm in Forbes. Division is Yankee '27, Dodger '77 and Candlestick. Rotation is Pete, Pfiester, Oil Can and Speer/Yerkes

You could work that line up so many different ways .

vs. LHP I'd hit Clemente 2nd or 3rd , great hit and runner. Get a LH platoon for Evers . A cheapie like Javier or Schaefer.

vs. RHP why not let Bush leadoff then Chance. Utilize that speed to set it up for Stan .

There are many options on how to work your line up . It may come down to a tinkering with it in season to see what best result will be .

Just my 2Cents....
Weaver's OBP is totally unworthy of a top 2 of lineup spot, IMHO.
Bush in the 5 spot doesn't seem to fit.
Weaver is better suited for an RBI spot than Bush.

I'd hit Carter ahead of Clemente v LH

Beware, some folks consider my views of Buck Weaver blasphemy

Good luck

Evers AND Bush .... hmmm, Pete may just break a knuckle hitting the water cooler after those 100 errors. As you have Chance (opps, forgot his expected 20 more errors), you do not need a leadoff guy. I suggest Crosetti or other at SS or find a replacement for Evers, (Herr or White?)having both will kill you IMHO.

Get a RH 4th SP, Wilks would pitch great at home, Carlson, Coffman, Loes are also decent. Pickup a low BPHR 4th SP like Faber or Vance to pitch on the road against RH power teams.

Weaver is fine, hit him 7th. Other than your middle IF, looks good.
