SCRUBS CAN PLAY ALSO league. $80m, no DH (would prefer a frenzy, but it would have to be on a Friday or Saturday night for me. Otherwise, I'd agree to a waiver's, if the league wishes).
Two Restrictions in this theme -
1. Every team will have three STARTING "scrub" players at .99 or lower. These scrubs are broke down in the following GROUPS:
A. three teams will have scrubs at C, 1b and a SP position.
B. three teams will have scrubs at 2b, LF and a SP position.
C. three teams will have scrubs at SS, RF and a SP position.
D. three teams will have scrubs at 3b, CF and a SP position.
The scrub position players MUST be in your starting lineups at all times, unless they are injured. They may NOT be replaced for a defensive backup, UNLESS the backup is also a .99 or less scrub. Any backup for a scrub must be another scrub. The scrub SPs must get a minimum of 26 STARTS for you doing the season.
2. No EXTREME Hitting or Pitching Parks. Therefore, these parks will be banned - Fenway 67, Huntington, Baker, both Polo's, Yankee 27, Busch 64, Yankee 56, Municipal 54, Forbes, Griffith, Candlestick, Dodger 65, Astrodome, Royals, Olympic and both County stadiums.
There are still plenty of hitting & pitching parks left. Parks would NOT be unique.
Could be fun to play in some seldom used parks, and our draft cards would certainly have a different look. What would the value become of C. Hiller or Maz at 2b, Groat at SS, B. Buckner at 1b, W. Davis in CF or a J. Hegan at C? Would J. Alou or G. Shuba become someone's top 5 pick? Could R. Caldwell win 20 games for someone?
The groupings will not be bunched in the same divisions; every division will have one of each type of team in it. Sign up below in the Division and Scrub group of your choice:

EAST
1. Group A - He's Meat
2. Group B - Ranger
3. Group C - rosenthm
4. Group D - buster j ratt
CENTRAL
1. Group A - Frank M
2. Group B -
3. Group C -
4. Group D - 13Baseballs
WEST
1. Group A - TomP
2. Group B -
3. Group C - Modmark
4. Group D - fowldawg

I am fine with using the optional setup (#2) below, if it makes Novie more comfortable joining...as long as NO ONE who has ALREADY signed up objects. Several have posted saying they are fine either way, but I would like to hear from everyone who has signed up. So, if you don't like Setup #2, please say so. I feel it must be [b:1575001e5f]unanimous[/b:1575001e5f] from those who signed up for the first set up to switch to the different setup.
[color=blue:1575001e5f]OPTIONAL (#2) SCRUB SET-UP:
Group A: 1b, SS, SP
Group B: C, 2b, SP
Group C: 3b, Corner OF, SP
Group D: CF, two SP (can share the #4 spot, each must get 14 starts, min.)[/color:1575001e5f]
If anyone who has already signed up prefers the original set up, then we will stay with that (sorry, Novie).
Again, I don't care which group I have, so I can stay loose and just take the last group left. My feeling is, especially if we play 4 seasons, that I will play them all, eventually. :)

In Set #2 (A,B,C) do you have to have a 5 man rotation with one scrub starting every fifth game or is Group D the only option for sharing scrub SP? If that is the case, I like Set A and playing a four game league.
My current plan has me with three *SP and 2 scrubs sharing the fourth spot. If we go with Option #2, then D has an advantage because it loses only one position player to scrubs. If we play 4 seasons then it will even out, but we might as well stay where we are...

No matter what the vote, however, I will play with either option.

You can still have two scrubs filling the 4th spot, even if you don't have the group with two SP scrubs. My rationale for that pairing (CF and two SPs) was that having to play a CF scrub all season balanced not having an IF scrub. :)

My preferences: I like first option better. I'd rather have a LF and RF specified then corner OF. Rather have and infielder and an outfielder then two infielders in 2 of the choices and only one position player in the last choice. Like I said before, I believe the first option gives "A" an advantage, but if we play four there is no reason to mess with that. If we stay with option one, I hope those that have the "A" slot plan on going four leagues. I know it was made clear that there is no obligation to go 4, but if you take the "A" option and then don't come back, that might make it harder to get a replacement.

Go w/ option #1 and make it a 4 season commitment.

It's not unanimous, so we stay with the first, original set up. 4 season commitment. We just need three owners. Hopefully, we can fill today or tomorrow. :)
