Strato now blocked at work.

Strato now blocked at work.

I guess my company ran an update on Surf Control because Strato is now blocked. I think it is because "fantasygames" is in the URL. CBS fantasy sports because they use the URL "sportsline.com".

What are the odds I can get Bernie to take "fantasygames" out of the URL?
If it stays block I will just quit playing, that should be a good selling point.

That might not do it

I am a network admin at work and we have an apliance that blocks certain internet sites. The sites blocked are contained within a database that is updated daily. The sites are rated for the content they deliver. The blocking might be based on the primary domain name of sportingnews.com.

I feel your pain about the work blockage. The odd thing for me is that I can get to ESPN and even the message boards but I cannot get to the Strat O game site.

Do not quit Strat, quit your job instead. If you are young and have your health, what do you need a job for anyway?

That could make the 5PM waiver activity difficult!

Or do they look at the amount of time spent on non-work-related sites?

Alternative 2: Get a wireless card service and BYO internet access!

Our building has to much metal, it is hard to get a cell signal sometimes. We tried connecting to a wireless router one of the guys setup near the building and it did not work. I did find a way around it though. I have been using logmein.com to access my home computer.
