Can we autodraft a player that is on a non drafted franchise that has eligibility to your franchise, i.e had warrenbib not drafted waddell in the fa round and no body had taken the a's franchise, could he have than autodrafted that player?

welcome NYMets99...i'll get my team in sometime today...sorry for this most likely redundant question but once we have autodrafted our teams are all the undrafted players fair game regardless of what team they are carded to or have played for in their careers? Or do the carded players remain the property of the appropriate team even if they are out their in free agent land? Say i dont have J Dimaggio on my active roster, is he off limits to everyone else?

NOT TO MY KNOWLEDGE. I'M NOT IN THE EAST BUT CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF I CAN SET IT UP AND PULL OUT OR DOES SOMEONE IN THE EAST NEED TO DO IT.
