I'm waiting on the cap/dh/waivers. As soon as I know what they are, I'll think up a rule that'll hopefully keep my team above .500 :?

I really thought about doing another 60M league, but I think that's too painful. Here we go.

Event 8:

CAP - $80M
DH - NO
WAIVERS - 10%

All groupings for this league were made through randomizer.org.

This is like a screw your roommate league. It would probably be more accurate to call it "Punch your roommate in the head 5 times then steal his/her girlfriend/boyfriend league".

The two teams in each division that are highlighted red are partners, and the ones in black are also.

Each team has to pick (2) carded players with a salary over 7 mil. for their partnering team. These players must start, and remain on that team, for the duration of the season.

Each team will also pick (4) carded players that are off limits to their partnering team. At no point during the season are these players allowed on that team. There are no salary requirements on these players.

Each team will pick there partnering teams stadium.

Finally, there will be a 4 round serpentine draft. Order detemined by tonights lottery. Any player that's ever played for your franchise is fair game.

I know it's a pretty rough rule, but I think I'll be interesting to see how good managers are at screwing over another team.

Any questions?

Do the 2 $7 million players and the 4 off-limits players have to come from your partner's 4 team rosters, or will it be for any player who ever played for his franchise?

It can only be from their four teams.

Let me throw this out there right now.... unless there is some sort of rule about who the players are, JPgavin is completely toast in this league... since there is no-dh.

The rule I think needs to be that the two players do not play the same position... if not, JP is going to have to use 11.81M to sit Joe D on the bench while another 13M for Mantle to play CF.

I should have clarified. The players must start the whole season. So you can't pick someone for your partners team if they can't start.

Okay, I might be busy the next couple of days and so I am going to go ahead:
I hate doing this to Marge but those are the rules:
Marge you need to play in Comiskey '78
The two players you MUST have are Ted Lyons, and Red Faber
The four players I excluded from you are: Ed Walsh, Luke Appling, Dick Allen, and Joe Jackson.
And yes, I fully expect and equally obnoxious return from you, lol.

Steve, I don't know if this will effect your choices, but the two players you pick, have to start their primary position.

Example: If the player is carded as a LF, but also plays CF and 1B, he is to start as a LF, unless the other picked player is also carded to LF as their primary position. In that situation, the players can start in any of their positions to assure that both can start.

But if one of the picked players is, again, carded primarily as a LF, and you [b:5eb389192d]draft [/b:5eb389192d]another player that's primary position is LF, the picked player must start in LF.
