I would do an interim league if we did a draft on somdraft.com (Major Deegan's site). This is much funner than the TSN autodraft function. We can set the cap at $80, $100MM or whatever we want and then we draft as time permits over the course of a few days. You log in, review picks and draft when it's convenient for you (and when you are up).
I would imagine some of you have used this site before (I know DonFESQ has), but if not, it's a blast. You come up with a randomized draft order, then simply draft in a serpentine fashion until the rosters are filled. Then you create your team and select the players you drafted through the autodraft function.
somdraft.com keeps track of the process and the cap figures (totals and remaining) and you can set the clock to whatever time limit you want (i.e. 24 hours per pick). But if we keep checking in and picking like we do for bidding, it goes pretty fast. I have done them as fast as 2 days and as long as ten days.
you can also choose to fill fewer roster spots via this draft (i.e. 19 rounds - 18 players and a unique stadium), then autodraft for the rest. I can set the whole thing up if we get a group. The site lets the person that sets it up create user names for those that don't have them now (would be the same as your TSN name).
Easy and fun. DonFESQ administered the first one I did and it easily doubles or triples the fun vs. autodraft or TSN live draft. Live draft is cool, but the 3 minute time limit gets hairy sometimes. This gives you more time to study the picks as they are made and enjoy the draft.
