Fewest Dollars Spent

I'd suggest going with Gandil at 1B and then you'd be able to upgrade to Rice in RF for the same cash.

Gandil is one of the hidden gems on a smallball team.

That is truly extreme. Only time will tell .......

Question is, we've seen the success stories, are there any failures out there also???

Actually Coach we have seen regular season success. I don't think anyone posted a championship team. Here is my highest $ amount of pitching that won a championship 47.23 million, one of my favorites too since I only gave up 512 runs and you had to be rated a Top 25 manager to get in this league (OK so it was a snobbish league). It would be interesting to know what the highest amount of pitching was that won a championship.

Roseboro at SS

Postby MtheB » Tue Feb 28, 2006 9:22 am

Well opening night and....
Larry Bowa gets hurt in the 2nd game.
In all the focus of putting this Biermeister like team together, I neglected to get a backup for SS!!!
So, HAL puts Roseboro in at SS for the 3rd game......somehow Johnny finds a way to field several ground balls and we sneak by with a victory.
