The TSN Loyalty Discount: Am I the only one...?

What if the restaurant told you they would be performing a steak upgrade over the weekend?

If someone stocks up on teams now at half price, they are much farther ahead than if TSN gave everyone a freebie team. What do you feel would have been fair compensation?

I shouldn't have to buy something. As he's meat said, there's no real sacrifice on TSN's part. They'll just be raking in more dough for their mistake.

As a former Restaurant manager, I think what TSN is doing is a helluva deal. Something that they did not have to do. A TSN-SOM baseball season is 54 days long. We all had 3 bad days out of those. Now if you told me that 3 out of 54 bites of your steak didn't taste right, am I going to give you a new steak for free? No! I definately wouldn't say that for the rest of the week you can come in to my restaurant and buy 1 steak and get 1 free.

I believe that what they are doing is far above the call of duty. :)

Tim -- That analogy just doesn't stack up, restaurant manager or no. If I take one bite into a steak and it's rotten, at almost any decent restaurant I'll get a brand new one for free. But that doesn't even take into account the fact I had to wait for the steak for several hours (Friday frenzy) only to be told that I'd have to come back next week to get one--after I already had paid.

To get compensation for my rotten steak, yes I would have to buy something. You guys don't have to agree with me on this, but then again we're living in a world where the customer is rarely right anymore. Go spend your $$$ on some new teams and questionable service. I'll go take my wife out for a nice dinner instead. We prefer Indian to steak, however.

Zippy, I understand, I waited for that same frenzy. We all have our own opinions, that's 8) :D

What is wrong with the steak? You had to wait a while to get it but once it got there it was the same steak as always.
