OK, So I missed out on the 2 team theme league just getting underway so I thought why not start another one?? This is what I am thinking for rules:

1. 1 team must be an AL team and 1 must be an NL team.
2. $100 mil / DH
3. 2 round serpentine draft to select teams, state lottery (low to high) determines order so list your state when signing up.
4. No free agents can be selected from unused teams or other selected teams extra players.
5. Trading is definitely allowed and can also be done with players that you have rights to but are not on your roster. (This kind of serves as the minor league players)
6. Home Stadium must be one of the 2 stadiums from your teams
7. Divisions will be based on 1,4,7,10 / 2,5,8,11 / 3,6,9,12

I think this is it but if I missed anything important then let me know. By the way this is the first time I ever tried to organize a league so have a little patience with me if I miss something.

Niner,

sorry about the FA rules. I have never been in a league where trading was a big part of it. I would like to see if this generates more of it. To be able to draw good players from the non selected teams will reduce the need for trading to fill holes and improve teams, IMO.

You want trading get in a keep league USKL 3 which I run, 56 trades since the leagues inception a year ago, 32 of those in the "off season" from last November to today.

The salary cap and drop penalties make trades for to difficult in this game IMHO.

Good luck with the league though.

By the way, the NO Free Agent aspect really does emphasize trading...I'm in the other 2 team theme league, and there have been 8 or 9 trades already, and we are still loading!! This will be fun, I like the interleague theme as well.
