Wilks, T. R S6/R2 [b:524a59b459]1 2[/b:524a59b459] 1 9.1 12 7 5 5 [b:524a59b459]6.75 [/b:524a59b459]1.82 1R .50M
Drabowsky, M. R R3 [b:524a59b459]0 2[/b:524a59b459] 0 9.0 18 13 4 5 [b:524a59b459]13.00 [/b:524a59b459]2.44 2R .86M
Johnson, E. R R2 [b:524a59b459]1 0[/b:524a59b459] 0 16.0 16 10 6 9 [b:524a59b459]5.62 [/b:524a59b459]1.37 2R .50M

To sum up, 5-10 (3 wins are Blown Saves), ERA ~7.00. 74 ER/ out of 229 total for the team. What's the solution? I'm thinking of trading/cuttting Joe Medwick for a legitimate closer? You can tell, that this is my first ATGII game. I played Fantasim, and rode Satchel Paige (<$1m) to 40 saves, ERA < 2.

X Man,

It would be helpful to have a team link to know more about your team & stadium. That being said, you sometimes get what you paid for...in this case, crappy results.
You'd be better off going the straight RP route if you want to scrimp. At various times, Pattin, Sisk, McEnaney, Dayley, Shoffner et al have been effective. It can be real hit & miss at that salary level.
Best of luck. Before your next season, post the team for advice that is worth what you pay for it.

Thanks for the help...any suggestions? Run scoring is pretty strong, but the bullen is the difference between first place and third.

Yes ... Drop 2 of your backups to free up some cash. You don't need 15 hitters. Wambsgass for sure becuase you don't need a backup at 2B because Collins is bulletproof. And, I'd recommend Jamieson also because you don't need to spend that much on a backup OF.

Then dump all your relievers, that will leave you with roughly $7.00 mill to work with. Spend the money on a couple of $2-$4 mill relievers and a couple of value guys that fit your park. Your current group gives up way too many BP HR's to succeed in your park.

Klinger, Tincup & McMahon may be options that help. Hughes & Riddle may be lower priced options.

I'd endorse Hughes as 1 of your additions. Previous Ebbetts seasons:

I picked up Hughes and Konstanty as setup/closer, then set the relief usage to minimal. Thanks for the help guys.
