Update on this sites response to collusion

Update on this sites response to collusion

Postby WGullett » Sat Mar 21, 2009 9:54 am

I posted here yesterday that there was an obvious act of collusion in one of my leagues....Although the collusion didnt affect me it was seemingly such an iron clad case I posted the situation and alerted the league.

THREE other managers also alerted the league.

THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT THIS

The team in question is on the front page of the league today as a playoff team..This is ********. All the noise they make about how collusion is wrong and when presented a case they just do what they always do which is nothing.

While I highly question the integrity of the 2 managers(brothers in law as told to me by one of the suspect managers in a previous message in that league) I now have to say that this sites integrity is worse. To be confronted by FOUR different managers of obvious collusion and to NOT do anything about it shows the type of indiference this site has once they have gotten your cash. They have absolutely no balls.

If this site was a normal business they would be out of business already. The absolute lack of oversight and lack of corrective measures is unbelievable. I dont know about you guys but if if you go into a business and get treated with this same indifference would you go back? The manager gets screwed but oh well right? Not only the manager who lost out on this is quitting but Im done as well. Until this point I had questions regarding the game and its curious occurences(crazy relief pitching decisions, the overriding of our managers strategies, and other inconsistencies) but I never questioned the oversight of the game. I still have questions regarding the game itself but I now have no questions whatsoever about the worthless collection of jackasses running the show.

Have you received any response from your inquiry?

Maybe they(TSN) does not know about the matter yet.....?

Please keep us informed.

If this really did happen to your league,.....it could happen to ANY of our leagues. And we need to force them(TSN) to address this issue!

Did you e-mail TSN? this forum isn't always the best place for resolutions to problems.

does anyone know what TSN has done in the past? especially with the playoffs about to start i don't know what would be a solution. i've heard of collusion cases but never have seen any consequences. to be fair have never reported or followed up. definitely interested to see how this progresses.

What about a little mob justice..... what are the ID's of the two managers doing the collusion. Maybe they can just be blacklisted. I'm sure they will still find leagues to play in but it an overwhelming show of peer pressure to not accept that may make them decide to not buy teams anymore.

Just a thought

No-trade leagues?

Do no-trade leagues exist here? That's one way to ensure things are on the up and up.

Had a scenario a while back which caused me to quit playing for a while...A team in the league drafted and played all 50 cent players and after numerious complaints and emails to TSN absolutely nothing was done about it...They didn't even respond to my emails or others in the league...So don't expect a whole lot because that is exactly what you'll get. :?

its the exact opposite scenario. definitely gives the other 3 teams in the division a huge break. why waste the money for a sure loser?
