What is a Frenzy league???

This, may seem like a stupid question, and I think that I know. However, being new to SOM I want to be sure before joining one. If someone could please give me a quick overview it would be appreciated. Thanks.

When you join a regular, public, TSN auto league it is set up as waivers. Basically this means that after the draft, all undrafted players are put on waivers so teams have 2 days to organize their waiver claims.
In a frenzy league, as soon as the draft runs (usually by 12:15 am EST) all players who are undrafted are able to be picked up as free agents. Everyone 'frenzies' trying to pick up undrafted players. There is not a waivers time period.

I consider that to be 'by 12:15.'

Anyways, someone being late by a couple of minutes can be the difference between getting Cobb or cr*p!.

And thanks for clicking a nano second before me and getting Al Simmons the other night Petrosian.

Didn't the 12:09 time start AFTER the wonderful maintenance fiasco?

Every frenzy I've been involved with starts at 12:09. I clarifed the precise time because the first time I frenzied I went on at 12:15 and lost on everybody. By knowing when it goes off you can just log in at 12:08 and not have to bother clicking refresh every second for more than a minute. I'd want the clarification if I was a newbie and this were my thread.

Simmons was there for much longer than he should have been. (i.e. about 30 seconds). I made a mistake and fumbled around a bit, losing precious time. Frankly, I was shocked that I got him. :D
