[quote:5358c70fef="djl3737"]sorry to hear about your mom. Mine got diagnosed with Parkinson's a month ago, so i know how you feel.
On another note, is there a cap on trades or not? We should know this before we draft teams[/quote:5358c70fef]

to answer both of your questions:

1 there's no cap on trades

2 there's no cap on trades

I am sure that I pick last so I have no strategy at all. Just for future reference is my total 180 or 9? (NJ). Ok I can't trade my free agents and anyone from my 2 teams (on my roster or not) is free game for trades. Sorry Rm about the news. I hope they got it early. Mike

First no you do not total your numbers, 180 is your number, and right now your not last.

Picking low is not a bad thing in these type of leagues, In fact I'd prefer to be the 10th-12th pick my self. So if you wanna swap positions after all the numbers are in, I'm alll for it.

Remember, it's a snake draft you while you get a low pick the first round it's a high one in the second. You also get the advantage of knowing what league nearly everyone has to pick from for their second pick.

That's all I got tonight, I'll get the rest of the numbers in the AM unless one of you left coasters wanna do the honors.

Hey thanks for your thoughts guys! I do not even know why I mentioned it, but I had just found out. I think they did catch the cancer early so my Mom will hopefully be fine!

On picking last or near the bottom, that may be the best place to be, because you will be near the top for round two. With these snake drafts, everything is pretty darn fair, there really is no bad place to pick, in fact some might argue, near the bottom is better, and first is worst.

I am finally getting an idea of some teams I like, but there are so many to choose from I think everyone is going to wind up with a team full of talent.

Kudos to the rules committee, this looks to be a super fun league.

having cable issues last night and didn't realize i sent it twice. I agree that picking low is no issue because the other 2 team league i'm in i picked 12th and got a very good team out of it. I would send a link to it but i don't want to give anyone any good ideas.
