I just lost games 1 & 2 of a season in the bottom of the eighth and both rally's involved a Fly LF X that turned into a single. In one game I was up 6-4 and in the other I was up 2-1. I have Endy Chavez on the bench as the first defensive replacement listed to come in and to play LF. Aren't these defensive replacement situations? It seems like both should be and there is no doubt IMO about the 2-1 game, especially since I already batted in the top of the eighth. Does anyone have any insights(besides HAL is a clown)?
