You have full access to all the players on your 2 teams for the entire season. I am guessing that we will be using tonight lottery numbers for draft order.....

We will use Tuesday night's lotto numbers. The order will be low to high. For states that have multiple pick 3 numbers we will use the evening numbers.

My home computer hard drive crashed on Saturday and it is at the shop getting a new hard drive installed. I will be out of the office on Wednesday attending a funeral so I will not be able to post the lottery results on Wednesday. The person that has the lowest lotto number has first pick. We go in order 1-12 all the way up to the highest number. Round 2 will be the reverse order of round one. The person with the highest lotto number will have back-to-back picks at pick 12 & 13. The person that picks first will also have the last pick of the draft so make that first pick a good one!

Will someone please post the draft results in the morning and get this draft moving. There are many places to find lotto results but I always use WWW.LOTTERYUSA.COM. I will not be able to pick until Thursday so I hope I don't hold up the draft for everyone.

Curiosity question: Since the 2005 cards are named 2006 and the 2008 cards are named 2008, don't they have to have two seasons with the same year name? Either 2 different 2006 or 2007 or 2008? They have 4 years with only three name choices.

100 million cap

Postby Brent65 » Tue Apr 07, 2009 9:58 pm

It was brought to my attention and after reviewing the teams for this season, I'm concerned with all of us being able to make the 100 million cap (after picking our two teams). Maybe we should look at 80 million cap. Please take a moment to review and let me know which way you feel we should go:

100 million cap
80 million cap

I would hate to see some of us only being able to make 85-90 cap and some others making the 100 cap. I want to make sure were all on the same playing field.

We might as well leave it at 100Mil so the lower cap teams can trade up
with the higher salary teams. It should even up with the after draft trading.

I hope.

Later........

My vote's for 80 mil, no trading. Seems to me no trades was one of the rules our commish was most adamant about from the start. Also, with exclusive rights to our two teams' rosters we'll all have huge benches most of the season, regardless of salary cap.

Brent - Please make an executive decision or put it up for a vote. This is something we need to settle on before drafting teams.
