$25M dollar Sleeper League, LEAGUE FULL.

Our historical single season sets

$25M dollar Sleeper League, LEAGUE FULL.

Frank Robinson and Reggie Jackson always put up big numbers. But true strategy and managerial skills involves identifying and managing the sleepers. The one-million dollar players who out perform their salaries. This league will have a $25M salary cap per team. You can take Don Mincher and a bunch of half million dollar guys, or whatever strategy you think best.

Except for the salary cap, everything else will remain the same, including the normal 20% transaction penalty. Sign up below.

I have a question for clarification. The league will need to be a 200 mil league (as I understand it, the 60, 80, and 100 mil leagues all have minimum team salaries that are above 25 mil). So, at the start of the season each team will have 25 mil salary and 175 mil cash. Let's say that a team cuts a 2 mil player (getting back 1.6 mil), now does that team have (a) 24.6 mil salary cap and 175 mil cash, or (b) 25.0 mil salary cap and 174.6 mil cash?

signed, franky (former manager of the Crack Hos, if anyone remembers that 25 mil league)

The answer is A, the salary cap becomes $24.6M.

Guess we'd have to do a live draft? If it's the random draft, when I don't get somebody I designate because he was taken by somebody else, will Hal throw in expensive players?

Last time we did a random draft and it worked out, because by the time the season started we all had our rosters at $25M.

But we could always vote and see if people prefer live or random.

I prefer autodraft, but I'm ok with either one.

Am I correct to assume no DH since that is the default?

Couple other questions:

1) Are we limited to a 25 man roster or can we go as high as 28 or low as 24 (or 23 whatever '69 allows)

2) Even if we go auto-draft, does it make sense to do unique stadiums?

No DH

Roster size, your call anywhere from 24 to 28

Since it looks like we will use an autodraft, choose any stadium you want.
