Now more stupid questions:

How important is money? The only cap is the$200 for the league right? I won't get close, but I get a feeling I'm missing something. I'm thinking that a) it could be a factor later on in making trades, and b) could have some effect next year on the guys salary. How am I doing?

Next question, how will Manny's feminine fertility problems effect him next year? Would he be strat eligible for the whole season or will HAL have him pee in a cup?

Money is not an issue, ever, as far as I know. Because of the 200 mil cap, you can make a lot of moves during the year, drops and adds, and no one can pick up the folks you drop, because they are on your 40 man roster,

As for Manny, maybe every time he rolls a 1 -2 they should have a drug result and roll dice again
7 - Juiced up, HR
8 - toking, strikes out, but smiles
9 - fails drug test, misses 50 games
12 - too many fertility drugs, pregnant, misses rest of season! :lol:

Oh, and another possibility for the drug event:

All players who are pure dh's do not show up on the player list.

If you are drafting a pure dh (Thome for example) choose a .50 player who no one is likely to want and simply state on this thread that this player is a proxy for the player you really want.

It looks like we're stuck.

It's been awhile since I've used the draft site, but I remember in years past that if 2 players time has passed, proxies won't fire unless the 3rd player makes a manual pick.

Is that still the case? Anybody else remember when?

Yes, proxies will not fire until a pick is made.
