The backup plan is to recruit a replacement manager who will need to take over his NL franchise. My thought is to wait through this weekend and then consider the alternative. We need to have the league loaded no later than Friday the 14th.

Someone said that had a 1969 live draft going on with him as well, did he ever show up for that one?
The uniqeness of this league will create a postdraft opportunity for lots of trading and roster moves. Having waivers on Tuesday as we were planning would give us almost a week to tweak rosters and make deals. It also sounded like none of the other owners had any issues with a Tuesday waiver draft.
I am not sure what is up with LDANRED, but frankly, it is inconsiderate to keep an entire league waiting for 6 days now, with no emails or anything, especially when all of the other 11 owners seem to be ready to go.
I hope he gets his team in by tonight.

I have a message into Franky regarding the 69 draft-will advise once I hear. I fear it might be a challenge to find someone to take over IDan's team. Just filling the league up took a longer than expected-getting someone to take over a team with 6 players, including the highest paid hitter and pitcher, might not be an easy feat. I'm hoping IDan reappears soon but........

Maybe he is in so many leagues he forgot about this one? Either way, let hope he loads tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest.

No additonal news as of 10:00 EDT(Approximate) Sunday night-the league is still awaiting IDan-he indicated to Franky that he was planning on joining shortly.

Maybe we should just break his team up and do a supplemental disbursement draft -- I kinda had my eye on Dave Kingman. :wink:
