[color=red:49862bfc46]New - [/color:49862bfc46]Divisional Assignment will be based on Alphabetical Order of Manager's name. For example. Jeep is "J". First four in East and so on.
[b:49862bfc46]Alphabet League Rules - New Twists Added[/b:49862bfc46]
1. Everyone's line-up must be either[u:49862bfc46] forward [/u:49862bfc46]or [u:49862bfc46]reverse[/u:49862bfc46] alphabetical order. That is, A-Z or Z-A. Each Manager will decide which way he wants it, but doesn't have to declare which way he's going in pre-season.
2. After 81 games are played, obviously the mid-season point, each Manager[u:49862bfc46] must[/u:49862bfc46] switch his line-up to the opposite he was using during the first 81 games. IOW A-Z line-ups will become Z-A and vice-versa.
3. The four P/O teams will have the option of using [b:49862bfc46]either[/b:49862bfc46] forward or reverse alphabetical in the playoffs. Managers do not have to declare which order beforehand, but can not change once the post-season has started.
4. If there's an injury Managers have two options:
A) You can leave L/U as is with injured player still in there and let HAL determine your order, or
B) You can replace injured player in L/U, but your batting order still must remain alphabetized
5. Any violations of the batting order, even unintentional will be subject to the following penalty. Sitting your highest salaried hitter for the entire 3 game series the next time you play that team in which the violation occured. If you do not play that team again, the penalty will be observed in the next series.
6. If someone forgets to switch his L/U after game 81, the above penalty will be enforced for each violation. For example, one night is one series, two nights two series, and so on.
