[quote:da8c780fb8="bigdinkent"]I'm looking forward to playing in my first decade league. I don't normally play in Fenway, so that'll be its own challenge.
A few of questions related to the draft
Are there any other free agents available in the autodraft, other than the 750k players?
Is it correct that any keeper not retained after the autodraft is available during waivers (assuming they still have eligible years).
Do we rank our keepers at the bottom of the autodraft?
Are there enough players eligible for an 89 season? I think my entire roster currently has 2 or 3.[/quote:da8c780fb8]
I'll address your questions, comments, in order.
You can change your ballpark, in the rookie draft -- once during the 80s. Normally, you need to announce this before the draft, but we may be able to make an exception in your case if you're wanting to do it this draft. You then use one of your draft picks to pick a new park. We can list the parks that are taken if you'd like.
Eligible payers (first card before 83, last card after 83) who were not on anyone's roster at the end of the 82 season can be taken in the autodraft. We'll have to come up with a way of allowing you to search for these. Can someone help him with this?
You can rank your keepers and your drafted players last as you have exclusive rights to these players. But you do lose rights to any of these players if you don't put them on your autodraft list or don't keep them on your roster.
With .75ers, there's enough for a 89 season. The original decade league went from 81 to 89 and there was enough to make the last season work.
