So I go 9-1 over the last 10 games and pick up next to nothing on my division mates. As they say on the PGA Tour ads, "These Guys are Good!"

My decision to go with high priced starters and a short bullpen in a hitting park looks to be the wrong move. Add to that the injuries and I think I'll come up short. Can't play catch up when you are muddling around the .500 mark. There's a temptation to drop either Clemens or Oswalt and pick up some additional relief, but I hate taking the penalty...especially with this group.

I was worried all year that crissie's slow start was an abberation because of his RS/RA ratio. That is coming true and it coincides with my team slip, slidin' away

I’m free
Free fallin’

I’m free
Free fallin’

All the vampires walkin’ through the valley
Move west down Ventura Boulevard
All the bad boys standin’ in the shadows
And the good s are home with broken hearts

I’m free
Free fallin’

I’m free
Free fallin’

Has anyone besides me noticed that this league totally s_u_cks! It's turned into the unofficial [i:3fbf80b5b2]Beat Up on Riggo Invitational[/i:3fbf80b5b2]. :( If anybody cares, I'm doing OK the consolation autoleague (TSN_11983) where I've got a better record than mean ole spicki, cristano, and biggie. :P

Well, my team managed to stay competitive through luck for the first 6 weeks of the season. But its turned big time lately. How the hell do you lose 3 one run games in one night? That just ain't right.

Oh well, try to make some adjustments, but I fear too little too late.

It was fun.

In in all, this has been a very competitive league, which shows that regardless of what some might think, we are all fairly closely matched in skill (or luck) levels. :D

Its been fun chasing you Marcus - I think if I could go a game without someone going down for 5 or more games I'd have the lead. But that's the risk when you go for the injury-prone guys.
