Someone else in East will have to make...it won't let me leave this league to form a 200M one...maybe only if I leave for an already formed league though???

We need someone in the east (Sykes, ggrover15, pennyville, willie randolph, bontomn) to start the league.

It should be: $200M (see above), DH, Frenzy, 5-10-20, adv

of course, my Theme and I get the team with the worst record that doesn't get to partner up with another team, ouch!

I put them in order 1-18 by W-L and then paired 19&30, 20&29, 21&28, etc....I got StL which was team #18.

oh well, see how I can do with this pathetic lineup and staff. Hopefully Mcgwire, Lankford, and Tatis can carry them. Dreadful defense, no pitching (starting or relief) and serious holes in the lineup. Could have used Ankiel, Osborne, or some of the other guys that got 30-40 innings and 5-8 starts in 1999 for the Cards.

well I have great Pitching and ok hitting but my div is rough with the yankees and the mets.

I see this team maybe winning 90+ games and not making the playoffs.

should be fun league.. my only thing is i wish we could make trades. say 2 per team or something.

I like my Texas team, but AZ is pretty much out of our reach unless there is some really bad coaching going in Phoenix! Jack? Can you bench a few players and let the other 5 guys have a chance? :wink:

I agree that it would be nice to have like 2 or 3 trades and I thought about it and decided to just stay with the no trades. If you go back through this thread I think it is mentioned.

Yeah, I think the point of the league was to re-enact the season the best we could since we can now have 24 teams in a league. Moving a bunch of players around would defeat the purpose. I think we were all prepared to be stuck with a poor team! It is the luck of the draw.
