1969 OFET LEAGUE - Loaded and rolling!

Our historical single season sets

could start '69 Prehistoricroto after we start this league

The live auction draft will take a long time but will be very fun. If it is first time for all in 1969 even better. Should we start sign up? Would need Gdwarf to help with admin. Would be great to get present 12 guys whom are among cream of the crop.

1969 LIVE AUCTION - SIGN-UP

Postby GFDWARF07 » Wed Nov 11, 2009 12:43 pm

It takes a lot of patience but it is a lot of fun too. Let's keep the sign-up here for now and see how much interest we can generate amongst our group.

I like the idea of having our group back, as we know we can count on everyone. One of the big risks is if someone loses interest or drops out there is a huge investment of everyone's time that is lost, as it might be 6 months between the start of the auction and the league forming. We need owners that we can count on and that are committed.

Once we get more serious we can talk cap (it's really quite arbitrary, as you simply all have the same amount to spend, so there's no real difference) - 100M is a good figure. I can also copy the bidding guidelines we have in the ATGIV auctions - we have a 24 hour bid clock, five players open for bid at once (3 hitters, 2 pitchers), and specific nomination guidelines, etc.
