Prior to the start of the bidding, I'd like to give you all a piece of advice. 3 years ago, prior to the 1966 season, the Reds GM, DeWitt, traded Frank Robinson to the Orioles for Milt Pappas and Dick Simpson, saying that Robinson was "an old 30." Going into this season, he is going to be a really old 33. So it is probably best to avoid bidding on him and save your money . . . Though I might make a bid for sentimental reasons.
