1969 AUCTION LEAGUE - CHAT ONLY

Our historical single season sets

My wife and I would love to visit Angkor Wat. But now we have a baby so I think it is impractical with Malaria and kidnappings and the Khmer Rouge. Is Cambodia travel only for young adults?

Wow...baseball chat has really gone off to a new tangent! LOL
Just noticing that we have inked 3 players to contract in 5 days. We have to sign 300 players. I know that the end players will be a lot quicker because everyone will go after need but at this rate, we are looking at an 18 month draft!

So what's the issue sneeze? Did you have plans in May of 2011? :P

Seriously, I think we are just feeling things out for now - it will speed-up. Plus the superstars do call for additional time and that's all we are doing so far. We'll keep our eye on it though - good awareness point.

Sort of a Steven Wright observation.

I know - I was just razzing you. My all-time fav Steven Wright line:

"I put instant coffee in the microwave.... almost went back in time"

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Hedberg....what great delivery...he left us way too early
I love his riff on Gatorade: Why are all these athletes advertising Gatorade. They are leaving out a big demographic....just plain old thirsty dudes.
Or club sandwiches: Hey let's form a club....sandwiches cut into triangles, and we'll put a 3rd piece of bread in there.....that will be so different

Or Steven Wright's....so one time I was.......no wait, that wasn't me.

Nonsense. The Khmer Rouge ceased to exist in 1998, malaria is not a Siem Reap problem but is largely in the NE hills, SW mountains, and NW border areas. Visiting Angkor is no more a challenge than visiting Yellowstone, except there are no bears.

He did leave us way to early! I loved his bit about getting a receipt for donuts, and having to file the receipt in case he needed as proof that he purchased it in the future).

Or Stephen Wright:

I used to have a switch in my house that didn't operate anything. But every day I'd flick it off and on. Then I got a letter from a lady in Germany telling me to cut it out.
