Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

My 80s went well, a B++.

The 70s was horrible as I missed on my 3 key offensive players and my waiver claims feel like the AFC playoff race. If I get him then I cut him, but if I don't get him then I can't cut my 2nd waiver claim, etc.... it's a rubiks cube. Grade C- only due to the Pitching. Trust me, I will be sitting at my PC at 4:59 on Sunday.

I got my top 5 picks in the 80s, but I still have some work to do with my bullpen. I missed out on my top 2 picks in the 70s, but I'm satisfied with some of my consolation prizes. I have work to do on 70s team as well, but that is almost always the case with these mystery card games.

Pretty happy with my 80's, but my 70's needs a lot of work. unfortunately I am way down in waivers so it could wind up staying a mess.

I got boned in both drafts. I have the #1 waivers pick in the 80's (Hello Mr Winfield), and the 2nd waivers pick in the 70's. I've managed 85 80's teams and 43 70's teams and still can't draft to save my life.

But I got pretty good at scrambling to recover from bad drafts somewhere along the way... :D

And all this time I was thinking you did this on purpose to get the top waiver pick! :wink:

I have no idea how I did in the 70s draft because I don't know who is good and who isn't. This could hamper me a bit this season.

Nah...I just don't auto-draft very well. I could actually be the worst auto-drafter in the game. I usually only get 10-12 of the players I try for. I like live drafts a lot better than autodrafts...

I got 4 of my picks in the 70s and am picking 2nd on waivers. Someone actually did worse.

80's League #1 is stacked. Full of sharks and some very nice looking teams.

Please show some mercy!
