The main reason this has slowed down is ldanred has disappeared, so we're forced to wait 24 hours before posting any results and he's holding the bids for Valentine and McMahon.

Just wanting to address the Idanred situation: I like to be generous with folks and remember that life is more important than Strat.(I know that is a radical thing to say :D )
And I also think it is important for folks who are disappearing some to communicate with the rest of the group. so we know what to expect.
For me, I see several options. I think this league requires checking in [b:e03e0ecb4e]at least[/b:e03e0ecb4e] once a day.
If Idanred can commit to checking in once a day, we live with it, even though it is inconvenient (if you can check in a second time a day whenever possible, that would be great). As I said, life complications can happen to any of us.
If Idanred can't check in once a day, than I think we need to do something about that. If it is only 1 or 2 days, I would be willing to pause the league, if he will let us know when he needs to be gone (this should only be used in emergency situations, if a lot of folks did this, it would s*ck.)
If he will be out of contact frequently for a week or two, Idanred could either give us permission not to hold bids for him, or we could try to find a temporary replacement from one of the other auction leagues (He might end up paying 7.00 mil for Walt Weiss, but that's the cost of having a sub! :D )
If Idanred will be frequently out of contact for much of the rest of the auction - beyond two weeks. he could either give us permission to not hold bids for him or find a permanent replacement.

It seems like Idanred giving permission to not old bids for him would be one of the easiest remedies.
Idanred, love to hear from you on this.

I understand life is busy yet whenever you commit to something you need to communicate on a regular basis if you can not be available. I run a $25M retail store, I have 3 kids and those kids and my wife have plans for me constantly. I check the board on the average 10 times per day (yes I have an addiction) if only to make sure I am not holding the process up. I am willing to wait that's not the problem however I believe it would be respectful for any of us if not available to drop a message letting our league know what our status is.
Hopefully Dan will be available shortly as I am really interested in those bids that are outstanding. :wink: :D :D
