2010 Pre Card Draft Chat - Waiting on Misterg to load team

I've been here off and on from 2pm and its 9pm est now. The clock is obviously in the "off" position today. I will leave proxies for my stadium with one or two folks if my turn does not come up by 9am EST Thursday.

I have proxies for Dan and Shnoogens, but no one will tell me if we have a clock or not, and I'd hate to screw someone on a stadium so I haven't posted them.

Sorry guys just got back in...

As far as the rosters/pitchers situations go...we will have to keep it as is (although I swear I only have 12 pitchers anyways, Ill double check though) I specifically made that rule about HAVING to get a .50 mill player if a player drafted doesn't receive a card to create a higher risk/reward scenario...guess I didn't think it through allll the way. Now we know for next year though.

Here is the ruling...if you have more than the max pitchers/hitters they will remain in the FA pool and the manager who selected that player will have the rights to the player (unless traded). Almost like a call-up in case of injury or anything like that. Not ideal but we'll have to make the best of it now.

And as far as the clock goes...I was under the impression it was just an extension of the initial draft. Once again it was never specifically stated by me (sorry), so we will wait for a little bit more. BUT every manager in the league is responsible for knowing the rules and knowing that the stadium draft follows immediately after the player draft.

So we will wait until 5 p.m. tomorrow. If Misterg has not selected a stadium by then...the draft will continue.

12 it is Dan. When you guys on the coasts come to the heartland don't worry about those lefty platoons to much. Of the 48 pitchers in the Central 42 are righties.

Anyway, like Dan said, now we know where to clarify some things for the next time. Not a biggie, and always good to see level-headed debates, rather than some of the irrational spiraling of emotions that I think we've all seen on these boards from time to time.

So, like Jerlins, I have to go plow my driveway now...argh!

Although today is my birthday (42), and I'll be celebrating at Mohegan Sun tonight! (for you not on the East Coast, it's a big casino in CT).
