After 1800+ games here in the 70s, I finally won my first championship! No false modesty, I'm excited about upending a hard-hitting Wrigley team in just 6 games. They won 101 games during the regular season and somehow we always did well against them. Go figure.
We finished the regular season with a record of 83-79, surrendered more runs than we scored and were ranked [i:a83788a6df]last[/i:a83788a6df] in team hitting! We were based in the Astrodome.
