Not sure I've ever had a game one of my teams was part of broadcast by someone else on the boards before. Unfortunately, my team was on the losing end of Tejada's 14-inning complete game.

Just for the record - before anyone looks at my lineup and wonders - it is a 24-team $60 million league and starters Swisher and Iannetta and Swisher's regular backup Schierholtz were all injured. And my other two relievers - Howry and Kuo - had both played in the previous two games. It was the fresh-armed Gutierrez who gave up the winning home run, though.

My record is 79-74, but, alas, I am 10 games out in my division with nine to go.

Al, a lot of insult in that game eh? Six innings of Tejeda pitching at F0, and then the "fresh" Gutierrez gives up the homer to Slugger Hardy, off of the hitter's card no less. Just got to shake your head and say thank you HAL -- NOT!

Yeah, but I'll acknowledge the Tejeda (correct spelling this time) card is a rare one: A starter card with no ballpark homers or ballpark singles. (There are at least a couple of relievers - Adams and Calero - with cards that also share that feature.)

This said by Tejeda after the game

'Not in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen!'
Tejeda said as he stood at home plate to salute the fans. :?

Man does this guy have a short memory or what.
I hope it was Al's team. He corrected the spelling and got a No Hittter for it. Nice job! Mike

Neither team was mine. It just happened in one of my leagues.
