Another important factor in this question is which game and salary cap. In ATG for example there are a lot of excellent S/R choices for such a role, especially if you are in a higher cap league.

And while you pay a premium for these guys in higher cap leagues you can afford them and they can really come in handy to neutralize some of the extreme parks. When you have a couple hard lefties you can spot start it makes parks like Dunn a little less of a disadvantage for you

I've often used the #5 as a hard lefty or righty relief specialist. A couple of years ago I used R. Ortiz (9R) on almost every team. His card was as good as any hard RH'd RP and he solved the problem of having to have the 5th SP.
