Hailedog Wins the 70s/80s Players Championship Again!!!!!!

The 3rd 70s/80s Players Championship has ended with defending Champion Hailedog winning another Title to become the first back to back Champion! Moodywoody won in the 1st year (2008) and it has been Hailedog in 2009 and 2010.

Hailedog won in 6 games in the Finals over the upstart Voovits who played extremely well throughout the year and into the playoffs. We must also applaud Darthruvo and Hallerose for their great seasons! These four managers made it to the Final Four out of the original field of 60 managers!

For 2009 and 2010, one must recognize Hailedog as the best Mystery game manager. In 2011, the 90s game will be added to the schedule, so expect the unexpected with a new decade of mystery players.

Hailedog receives a slew of prizes including bonus rating points, 4 credits (or trophy), more TSN magazines plus his choice of an autographed HOFamer bat or jersey. Voovits also receives bonus rating points, Sporting News magazine and an autographed bat or jersey. It has also been decided to award Darthruvo and Hallerose an autographed item from a HOFamer for finishing in the Final 4.

Congratulations again to Hailedog who will now have a Bulls-eye on his back in every league that he enters.

Watch the message boards for the announcement of the next Championship Tournament which will be bigger and better in 2011.
