[quote:c65c56055b]I agree, we should have a 24 hour time limit to make a raise (a player can be claimed if no raise is made for 24 hours) but also, the open auction can end sooner if all other potential bidders post a message that they "drop out". This way, the open auction can end before the 24 hours potentially if the other bidder(s) make it clear that they have no intention of raising the bid.[/quote:c65c56055b]
Sounds great, we have a 24 hour raise rule, but also the rule that all owners must bid at least once or officially drop during the first 24 hours. That should give us fairly short options with only the serious bidders.
[quote:c65c56055b]I would also propose a possible extended time limit on the first round of closed bidding. (To allow everyone time to peruse the player set before entering their first bid). But with plan to allow the first nominations immediately upon the release of ATG6. Then starting the 24 hour rule as soon as all managers have bid on the first of the nominated players and the first closed bidding results are released.[/quote:c65c56055b]
That seems fine, but I would like to have a deadline, like no clock for the first 3 days, then the 24 hour closed auction clock is on.
I like that this system has been a co-creation, Largely by Hackra and I. but with other's input.
