I hear ya - loud and clear.

[b:25098d671f]I turned the clock on to three hours. [/b:25098d671f]

A little user education here. When the clock expires, it takes a MANUAL PICK by the next player to advance the clock. It won't move automatically.

PLAY PROXIES !!!!!!!!

Sorry guys, I knew I would be gone for several hours and had alot of proxies set but since alvarndc never made a pick my proxies would not go off. I have now manually made my pick.

Sorry about the first day. I had no idea the draft had started and, in addition to my usual duties, had a 6:15 p.m. (PDT) doctor's appointment. I'm usually ready with proxies and/or manual picks.

Hope the clock's turned off at night Moose...... I think you've got to do it manually.

No it's turned off automatically. No manual controls.

Couple things here:

It was difficult to find this thread to even communicate bc last time the league thread was on the ATG board, NOT the individual league board. Guess one of the newer members of this theme moved it.

Next, I checked the draft at midday yesterday and still only a few picks - I think w were at #9 or so in the FIRST round, with the CLOCK OFF.

Unfortunately I then had INternet problems at the resort I am staying in.

Imagine my surprise to log on this morning, less than 24 hours later, and see that my second pick got blown past, and I was up for my THIRD. Apparently a fairly unilateral decision to turn the clock on.

A little eduacation about fair play -- it's good AT THE BEGINNING OF THE DRAFT to make sure everyone is on board or to announce at least when the draft clock will start.

I can appreciate the difficulty of your situation. That said, there was communication on the previous thread that we were moving to another thread.

I think it's also assumed that once your first pick is made, you are aware of where you are supposed to be.

But also, having missed your second pick, being on the verge of missing your third is about the point where I start to question the sanity and post an opinion that I think we should WAIT to see what's going on with you.

You just popped in before I (we?) had a chance to get there.

And by the way, you're up again. Do you need some instructions on how to use the proxy features ?

With consideration for the well deserved opinions of the others here, I want to take a moment to apologize to you. I feel that I did do a poor job of insuring that everyone was prepared. This is on me. I try to never be the one that manages the league, because it is not my strongest suit. Please accept my apology and know that in the future I will be more careful.

Jon.
