Very true. Hmmm, "kramers"; if my Seinfeld knowledge serves me correctly your Evil twin is Feldman.

Send proxies if you can't be on this morning or afternoon.

While we're not going to turn this into a Death Race, it would be good to get all teams loaded early enough this evening to move onto the Frenzy stage and start the season Monday . . .

But work/family/surgery might preclude that.

Again, if you think you will be away from the board for any length of time today and unable to make your turn, just send a proxy to anyone behind you in the line. Kramer has offered to be one proxy, and I have access often during the day, so I could be another. It's best to assign proxy rights to someone who has already picked in the round you are in.

Remember too that [i:b64466a629]once Mike (Mofos) picks Kramer's evil twin here in Round 2, [b:b64466a629]we will move back down to 12[/b:b64466a629] for "declaration of stadium" and Cherry Picked player from the remaining 6 teams.[/i:b64466a629]

Again, here are the remaining 10 teams:

Toronto Bluejays
Chicago White Sox
Detroit Tigers
Texas Rangers
Florida Marlins
New York Mets
Milwaukee Brewers
Chicago Cubs
San Diego Padres
Arizona Diamondbacks

Round two should complete very fast . . .

Postby artie4121 » Fri Nov 05, 2010 10:17 am

. . . once we have Smitty's pick.

I would be next, then CATom, then I have Mike's (Mofos) proxy and that is it.

Stay tuned.

Bypassing smitty at 1:00 p.m.

Postby artie4121 » Fri Nov 05, 2010 10:47 am

Since the last pick was made about 11:30 last night, I'll make a call here that if we don't have Smitty's pick by 1:00 p.m. EST, I will plug in my pick for Zim13 and we will pick up Smitty's turn when he returns to the board.

Any objection or issue, please let me know.

thanks,

Artie

I don't see any way we draft today. Its been almost 12 hours between picks already. No way during the middle of the work day for most people we're going to finish this draft round and get through the final round before the deadline today. IMHO

I agree

Since we've gotten this far let's not rush anyone into making a snap decision on that "cherry" and later regret it because they didn't take or get time to do their research. The "cherry picking" is gonna be the most important point of the draft.
