we can start draft here, but would like to do it on diamonddope.com to facilitate proxying, and with the faint hope that adrian has installed the exclusion mechanism so I can pair down to only eligible players with the help of anyone else with administrative rights. I doubt that's gonna be available, so eligibility questions need to be posted here.
I can begin listing the lists Ive created at each position based on salary, and you can also see all negro league players by clicking on the nel next to a players name on the free agent list. I don't think its a complete list, but there are about 30 pitchers, and the hitters are listed in order by position from catcher on around.
it lists the 11 catchers from the negro leagues whose primary position was catcher, but there are 14 in all...each team MUST START a catcher with a negro league card as his primary catcher, except due to injury, and can own only ONE negro league catcher. to own beckwith, he's got to be your primary catcher.

bontom, if youve got one, go ahead. ive pretty much got the rules down, just debating salary cap. problem is, this draft could be a bit complex, and take longer than normal. I hate to shorten it too much because if we only draft 8 live for instance, HAL is gonna give us a ton of ineligibles we'll have to swap out in waivers. but if that's what it takes to get it done, okay.

we could go 8 rounds and then a stadium round in reverse order from the first round.
the stadium round can begin before we're done with the player draft and be posted seperatly.

100m cap, W/DH, 5/10/20 drop.

you may carry only ONE nego league player with a catcher rating, there are 14 total. the ONE you select must be your primary starting catcher except in event of injury. if you draft beckwith, he must be your starting catcher. Latin born catchers, AND buck martinez, under $1m dollars are also eligible in order to make sure every team has two catchers.

All latin born pitchers, starters and relievers,[u:a262955ec8][b:a262955ec8]UNDER 5-MILLION DOLLARS [/b:a262955ec8][/u:a262955ec8]are eligible in order to meet roster requirements.

.50 cent starting pitchers are also eligible regardless of race.

there will be a one round draft of unique stadiums in inverse order of the player draft. only negro league stadiums are eligible. that draft will begin before we are done with the players draft.

please proxy if you can, keep in mind that bontom is incommunicado come monday. I may rearrange division set up to put him in east in case we're drafted and loaded in a timely fashion, so he can get his team in before he takes off. it'll be waivers.

I checked everyone's email notification for the draft, with whatever email you registered on diamond dope with. if you don't want them, let me know, ill take yours off. modmark, novie, donfesq and i think andy have adminstration rights.
