NLD 28 - The Legend Continues

Awfully quiet out here. What's happened to the NLD? Used to be a lot of chat out here.

OK, I'll start it a bit with some observations:

East

Burgundy is off to a good start in the division, only .500 outside. Good in Xtras and at home.
Bonn has played a lot of one runners and it +4, better outside the divsion
Hawk, has cooled off, but is still +5 in close games. Struggles on the road
Reno has been bad v LHP and is 1-7 in extras. ouch

Central

Bronx looks like the team to beat. Good in the div, outside the div, Xtras, one runner, home, road, v LHP and v RHP. Currently riding a 5 game win streak. Watch out! :shock:
New life - Very goo dat home and v LHP and outside the div Hanging tough with Bronx
Kings 27 one runners, better at hom than on the road
Accents - Definitely struggling. especially at home and v LHP -12 Ouch. Also -7 in one runners

West
Ottawa off to a great start. 8-0 in extras! :shock: This division has played only 18 games against each other. He's been great outisde the div. Outstanding at home
Philly good home deam, better v RHP
Mangos - gee,nothing really out of the ordinary so far...
Silvers - Horrid on the road 4-20!!! :shock: Wow, that's hard to do. Played 33 one runners and is -13. Ouch :( :o Has really struggling out of division.

I did no ratings here, so a team may hit LHP (for example) but have a bad record against them. Just looked at the standings and made some observations.

I am amazed at dave's performance given his 77% playoff percentage- that is incredible. I see bad luck with his injury guys and predict him to turn it around and make a run at .500

Well, my expectations are low for this season. I like my pitching, but the draft left me with a couple of players I don't like very much. Not too keen on A. Jackson in CF, and Utley always seems to disappoint. Hanigan is overpriced also.

I have been quiet because I was bummed about my team. There's several reasons why I've struggled so much, under-performing (by several guys) is a big one, but not the only one for sure.

I made some roster moves which has helped lately. Scored a pile of runs on Burgundy last night (in 2 games anyway) and I think we might be headed to respectability. Making a run at .500 is my goal.

Will post more. Not going to bury my head in the sand over a pitiful team. Suck it up I say. :)
