New 24-team keeper league

I just noticed the first page to this thread. :D

Are rosters the same as rounds drafted (31)? Is 31 the limit?

I think rosters will be 30 with the 31st round being the stadium draft.

Sure, though I've only been playing SOMO since May. Started my first keeper team shortly after I began SOMO (finished 2nd with 87 wins, no playoffs but bad draft position for next year :(. I'll be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge, but there are plenty of others with more experience whose brains you may want to tap.

I'm in the same one as blackjack and it's my first keeper league too. despite my bad record (3rd worst) it's the most fun I've had playing SOMO with the entire draft process, and the season. There is so much more talking in the league and trying to wheel and deal trades. It's just lots of fun.

Thanks guys for picking up and answering the questions. For the most part that was all correct. The only thing I changed up is that you can draft a stadium in any round in this keeper league and are not beholden to pick it in round 31.

With 6 more to go, hopefully we can fill soon. Keepers take a bit longer to fill and the 24-team leagues scare some people away since they are even more involved and a bit of a hassle to organize with 24 managers instead of 12.

Any thought to making the first prospect draft 4 rounds(or maybe cut back to two to keep a bit more talent out there)? I just think that with an odd number of rounds there is an edge to the early pickers in addition to getting the first pick.

My resistance is futile really but will hold off signing up at least until tomorrow..........I am really hooked on the keepers especially since my ATG interest has waned with such a deep pool there making the draft irrelevant.
