[quote:2b72dbc621="BED"]Ieat, I just noticed that You created the "Hairy Potter" theme instead of "Harry Potter" SGT D[/quote:2b72dbc621]

If that's the case, my team name is Dumbledore's Armpits.

THE official league is yet to be created, although I highly recommend Hairy Potter...love the armpits, im the generic dumbledore army...although I think I have the option to change...

While I certainly enjoy having Mark in our leagues, I had assumed that this draft might go faster without him, as he is often one of the slower ones to pick. After a whole work week and just making it through seven-and-a-half rounds, I guess I was wrong about it going faster without him. I hope we can finish up this coming week in time to launch on Aug. 22.

I thought I would list out the number of times each league member has proxied. Apologies if my count is off somehow:

Al Hogg 7 of 7
BED 6 of 7
He's Meat 5 of 7
Tom Siebert 4 of 6 (couldn't proxy first round)
Calbatross 4 of 7
Turtle 2 of 4 (missed out on 2 proxy opps when skipping MGC9000)
Zim13 2 of 6
MGC9000 0 of 6
Merkel, Uptown, Moneymaze, DurantJerry 0 of 7

I see I am also "winning" the spending race - and by quite a large margin. I guess I'd better start doing some bargain hunting.

Proxies are now set. This was not a week to do a lot of research while at the office, and I screwed up my Avengers team with bad proxies, so that's been avoided (I hope).

My proxy should fire right after Durantjerry's pick... I wish Jerry had stuck around to check the draft a few minutes after his pick... With proxies being set and firing off, you never know how fast you might be up again. So, I highly recommend, if anyone makes a manual pick, refresh the draft after a few minutes. You could be up again right away!

Clocks aren't off on weekends? that is, should I skip Jerry and pick? (in the past, clock has been off on the weekends)

not sure about skip...or what weekend policy was in past...just showing that DIAMOND DOPE has clock on today and I assume tommorow for normal hours. I wouldn't skip just yet until we get a consensus, since I think many, including quite possibly jerry, are/were under the impression that clock's off on weekends. once everyone's aware, I'd prefer to leave it on. we've got to start making some real headway if we want to be finished drafting and be loaded by next friday and start a week from monday. with another incommunicado vacation this week, that may be a pipe dream, but for me, I could probably proxy the entire rest of the draft right now.
