East is clear to enter after your selections. Thanks Bogusbuck for getting us started. :D

I just realized I will be involved in the battle of the Soxes! I have the Red and the White Sox in the Central with me Our friend George Barnard will be thrilled with his selection later in the draft to help fill out the Central.

BTW, in my opinion, all 10 teams are competitive. I don't think George will be in that bad of shape. The last 4 or 5 teams are all relatively even. It just depends on an individual's strategy and type of team they want.

Kev,

I had the Rockies in a league we were in together earlier this year (Play for your Home Town -- even though Denver is not my home town) where you had the Twins and Keyzick had the Red Sox and Evanthomas had the Cards. There are some really great elements on that team. My team -- whoever the Gods bestow on me -- may be competitive (that's what I like about this league, everybody is so darned positive) but it ain't going to be easy.

Bill--I completely forgot about that league (even though my Twins won the championship)!!!!!! Your Rockies ended up 73-89. I suddenly want to change my pick.

I forgot that we had a baseline to look at. The difference is that league had the top tier teams in the mix (Yanks, Twins, Rangers, Giants, Phils, etc). Hopefully my Rockies will have better luck than you did against the top tier teams.

With that said, I would have taken the Red Sox in front of the Rockies if they were available. The Red Sox were 85-77 in that league. The evil Zim beat me to them.

I won't mention to Coachteel that the Cardinals ended up 66-96 in that league.
