I was under the impression that anyone that didnt have MLB experience prior to the start of this year was eligible to be drafted in the prospect draft (Harper and Trout?)

3) Only those players without MLB experience and signed prior to the start of that MLB season, are eligible for any prospect draft.

the only guys that are considered "prospects" that can't be drafted in this draft if i am correct are guys that were taken in the most recent first year player draft. Thus guys like Trevor Bauer, Gerrit Cole, Dylan Bundy, and Bubba Starling cannot be drafted.

it appears to me that there are two requirements to be eligible:

1. have no time in the show
2. have been signed (by mlb club i assume) prior to the start of this season.

Also, what if I want to drat a guy with no card this year but with prior mlb experience?

Cant in the initial draft...

2) Only those players who were issued SOM cards this year and appear on TSN"s website (non unleashed) are eligible for the initial draft.

This is correct. So, since we started so late, Gerrit Cole and the bunch would be eligible.

Ok just to clarify...would someone like a Mike Trout be available to be drafted in the prospect draft?? They started this MLB season without any MLB experience, but at the start of OUR league they now have MLB xp.

Yep, I'm confused too, was under the impression "at the start of the current season" and "have been signed by a ML club prior to the start of the season" meant the real MLB season, not ours.
