The league will be created later on tonight/early tomorrow and the password will be:

bs2011e5l5 (BS2011E5L5 all lower case)

This will be 80 Mil CAP, NO DH, AUTODRAFT - no specific league loading order. Let make a good effort to get loaded by Friday, but due to the holiday in the middle of this week, I will not be surprised if we do not make the deadline for most of the leagues.

Once again, please be sure you do not duplicate a stadium grouping. I will try to get the stadiums used chart updated through Event #4 as soon as I can.

I heard from Zimharry - he is struggling with hurricane related cleanup issues, but as soon as things get caught up, he will put his team in. If it takes longer than expected, I could move him to the second week league.

thanks

My team will be loaded no later than tomorrow evening, maybe sooner if I can get some of these work projects off my desk. - Bernie W

FYI - a guy mopping up from a hurricane gets loaded quicker than a guy with "stuff on his desk"

I'm just sayin..........

Bernie's a stand up guy who's always good for his word. If he says he's piled under, believe me, he's piled under!

As I just told him in an e-mail, if he doesn't become a standup guy and get his team in by tonight, I have two filler players and one of them will be invited to fill this spot. Then he will be locked out of Event #5. - [b:eef26d6474]that's IT.[/b:eef26d6474]

My team is in

Postby BDWard » Wed Sep 14, 2011 10:44 pm

Just a quick heads up to let everyone know that my team has been entered. Thank you for your patience.

Kevin, thanks for the vote of confidence.

As I said earlier, my team would be entered tonight, so there was no need for anyone to be heavy handed. Unfortunately, my job gets very demanding at times and this was one of those times, albeit unexpectedly. I guess some people who may not have a job have lost sight of that. The league will start on Monday, the same as if I had entered my team tonight, last week or tomorrow night. But it's nice to get the moos.... er, uh... I mean, monkey off my back.

Good luck in the league everyone. - Bernie W

I normally give about 3 days for people to enter their teams, just look at the opening e-mail for this event sent on 9/8 - or the SECOND notice to enter your team sent on 9/10. - I have pulled people out of Barnstormers when they haven't shown up after repeated gentle urges finally turned to ultimatums. What is today, the 14th, a full week after announcing entering of teams ?

I'm sorry it has to reach that stage but the fact remains that I have to get leagues filled either with fillers or regular players, so deadlines have to be established.

Boy I wish I didn't have a job - I'm a full-time systems engineer with Hewlett-Packard (would you like me to send you an e-mail from there?) - plus I am a network consultant for two other companies during the weekend and evenings or by remote support.

And then there is this little tournament, and gathering and posting records for the 69 game, 70's game, 80's game and ATG4/5/6.

So does anyone think that a week is too long to expect someone to find the time to load one team ?
